Last Week, Multiplication. This Week, Geometry...

Good evening all!

This past week has been a very busy one in Mr. Piercey's classroom.  We finished a draft of our first writing piece, learned some multiplication facts, and spent some time exploring our textbooks.  Parents, be sure to ask your child about the different games they've learned how to play at home to practice multiplication.

This next week, in math class, we'll be starting our unit on geometry.  Students, take some time to learn the names of different geometric terms.  Be sure to check out the "Geometry Matho" game if you want to practice.  Keep working on those multiplication facts, too.  There's another 50-Facts Quiz coming soon!

Just a heads up, PAS Testing starts next week, and my students will start testing on Wednesday.  I hope you're ready.

Fantasy Football is starting soon, too.  If you're interested in playing, and haven't done so already, please turn in the form I sent home last week ASAP.  If you want to learn more about how Fantasy Football works, you can read about it by clicking the link below.

All of us who played last year had a great time.  We even had a few tailgate parties, so sign up!

Have a great week, and keep on learning!

Mr. Piercey
