Some VERY IMPORTANT Reminders!

Parents,
As most of you are now well aware, our trip to Washington, D.C. is only 6 weeks away.  We've got A LOT of important reminders/dates to get out to you, so please mark them on your calendars.
~Our FINAL Movie Night will be Friday, March 9th @ 6:00.  Yes, I know that's the SEC Basketball Tournament.  Don't worry, we'll be showing that, too!
~There will be a MANDATORY Parent meeting for the trip to Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, March 27th at 6:00.  If your child is attending the trip to D.C., you must be at this meeting.
~ Please make sure that you get the most recent payment for the Washington, D.C. trip in ASAP.  If the payments do not come in soon, we will not be able to attend the trip.  Check your child's Friday folder to see how much you still owe for the trip.
~Want your child's homework emailed to your everyday? Click here, fill out the form, and it will be.  You can also check it online by visiting http://fifthhomework.blogspot.com/
~And finally....Next Week is Dr. Seuss Week here at Simmons.  Each day will have it's own theme:

Monday - Pajama Day
Tuesday - Wacky Sock Day
Wednesday - Wear Wacky Clothes
Thursday - Hat Day
Friday - Dress as your Favorite Dr Seuss Character Day

  6. I am super confused. Lewis and Clark stated the exploration in St. Louis you said but almost eveything I have read says Pennsylvainia. See even the journal.

"Left Pittsburgh this day at 11 ock with a party of 11 hands 7 of which are soldiers, a pilot and three young men on trial they having proposed to go with me throughout the voyage. Arrived at Bruno's Island 3 miles below halted a few minutes.:Left Pittsburgh this day at 11 ock with a party of 11 hands 7 of which are soldiers, a pilot and three young men on trial they having proposed to go with me throughout the voyage. So, if that is the case on our geograhy questions the first bonus, would we count Pennsylvainia and the states they traveled through up there. Explain.

  8. Officially, they left from St. Louis... but Clark didn't live there, he had to get there first. I'll accept either! =)
