Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Students and Parents,

Today we celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, one of the most influential leaders of the Civil Rights Movement during the 1950s and 1960s. If you've never watched his most famous and influential speech, I Have a Dream, please view it below:

He spoke this while he was standing on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC.  When we visit our nation's capital in a few short months, you can actually stand on the very spot where this speech was given!
