Wow!

Students and Parents,

Wow!  This has been an incredible experience over the last few days.  Parents, in case you haven't heard, I've spent the past two days in California learning about different ways to use Google Earth and Google Maps in the classroom.  I learned a ton and can't wait to share with you all some of this new Googley knowledge!  Students, as promised, here are some photos from my trip.  If you can't see them, click here:

Picked up a pair of Google Glass before I left.  Can't wait to take these to Washington, DC!  Who wants to try them on?

It was about a 5 hour flight.  I slept most of it!

Got a t-shirt for the wife!

Check out the Google Maps car. No, I didn't get to ride around in it!

Got #babyHank a little piece of Youtube Swag!

Outside the Googleplex.

Droid!

I had a few hours Sunday afternoon, so I traveled down to the California coast with a friend of mine.  Check out these breakers!  You really can't tell from this video, but some of the waves I saw were 20+ feet tall!  Unbelievable sight.

The California Coast = Winning.

Students and parents, with our Washington, DC and Mammoth Cave field trips less than TWO weeks away, I'll be sending out a post tomorrow regarding what you all can do to get ready for these great events.  Can't wait to see you all tomorrow!

--- IMPORTANT! ---

Don't forget, beginning THIS Thursday, 25 minutes will be added on to the end each day.  All car riders, walkers, and bus dismissal times will be taking place 25 minutes after their normal scheduled time.
